STILL BURNING.

Sometimes life puts you in places you never imagined you would be.

Places where you feel tired of being strong.

Places where you question yourself.

Places where you wonder if all the pain is ever going to end.

You smile when people ask if you are okay.

You say, “I am fine,”

even when your heart is screaming for a break.

You keep moving,

even when everything inside you is begging you to stop.

And somehow,

you are still here.

Maybe you have been through things you never talk about.

Maybe there were nights when you cried until you had no tears left.

Maybe you lost people you thought would stay forever.

Maybe some dreams slipped through your fingers.

Maybe life did not turn out the way you planned.

But look at you.

You are still standing.

The fire may have changed you,

but it did not finish you.

It may have taken away your peace for a while.

It may have made you question your worth.

It may have left scars that nobody else can see.

But scars are not proof that you are broken.

They are proof that something tried to break you

and failed.

So do not be ashamed of the person you became while trying to survive.

You do not have to be the same person you were before the pain.

Maybe you are quieter now.

Maybe you think differently.

Maybe you no longer chase people who make you feel unwanted.

Maybe you have learned to protect your peace.

Maybe you have finally realized that losing someone

does not mean losing yourself.

And if all you can do today is take one more step,

take it.

If all you can do is breathe,

breathe.

If you need to rest,

rest.

Just do not convince yourself that your story is over

because one chapter became painful.

A bad chapter is not a bad ending.

The flame may become smaller.

It may flicker.

It may look like it is about to disappear.

But sometimes,

all it needs is a little time

to burn again.

So when life tells you that you are not strong enough,

remember every difficult day you have already survived.

Remember the version of you

who thought they would never make it this far.

Look at them.

They made it.

And so will you.

Because you are not the darkness surrounding you.

You are the little flame that refused to go out.

Still here.

Still breathing.

Still hoping.

Still becoming.

Still burning. 🔥💎
