Happy Sunday to everyone out there! It's another time to solve biblical puzzles with Sunday Twists. Shoutout to all who have been following, God bless you🤗.

So last week's episode really left us confused and thinking, and in one word, it was all about the mystery surrounding Cain's wife. And before I move on, special shout out to the co-founder of Twocents who for no reason I call him a pastor😂 Tobi Igbinedion. He gave some cogents points to unravel last week's twist. So moving on to what I found out:

Gen 5:4b ....and he had other sons and daughters.

He as in Adam gave birth to other sons and daughters aside Cain, Abel and Seth. So by implication, it is highly possible that Cain married one of his sisters. Proving this :

■There were no other creations aside Adam and Eve

■"But how can he marry his sister?" Close-kin marriage existed back then ... so yes he could marry his sister.

■Also, geneology in the Bible was traced mainly with the men (Incase you find another instance where someone's wife was not mentioned. Though Cain, being a first creation product appears to have a slightly different case)

Furthermore, according to a non biblical tradition called Jewish Targumim and rabbinic sources, Cain's sister was Awan by name. Other apocryphal texts call her Kalmana, Cainan.... In case you find the name Aclima, that is in the Islamic religion which have a different storyline regarding this. ( No offense intended).

Please note that this is not to present the Bible as an historical book, the Bible through God's inspiration, was written for teachings and edification of the Christian body.

This is just to provide enlightenment .

I hope Justice has been done to it?✌

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
