Sunday Twists S1E7_ Wahala for who chop fruit 🥲 (unraveled)

Ever caught yourself pointing fingers, trying to figure out who’s really at fault? 🤔

Interestingly, it didn't start with you, the story of Adam and Eve might just be the original blame game.

When Adam and Eve fell, everyone seemed to have someone else to blame. Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. And somehow, people today still try to drag God into it. This was last week's twist that sparked a lot of debate. Thanks to all who contributed 🎉🎉🥰.

So the big question remains: WHO SHOULD TAKE THE BLAME?

Firstly let me establish some facts:

✓ Blame = Being in the Wrong
At its simplest, blame means someone is at fault — someone made a wrong move. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at Genesis 3:1–7 and break this down.

✓The Serpent Played His Part
There’s no denying it: the serpent was guilty.
He deceived, twisted the truth, and manipulated God’s words. That’s literally his role — deception is his tool of choice.
So yes, the serpent belongs squarely in the blame conversation.

Lastly, For no reason should you take God as the Culprit😒 (if you value your life😂)
Some argue that God should take the blame because He already knew what would happen. But knowing something will happen is not the same as causing it.
God gave clear instructions and gave humans freedom of choice. Adam and Eve were not programmed to fail — they chose to disobey. Blaming God for their decision removes personal responsibility, and that’s a dangerous habit.

THE REAL ISSUE:

Adam and Eve’s Choices🤌

The real problem wasn’t just deception — it was choice!

Eve believed the serpent’s words over God’s instruction. Her understanding was incomplete, and the serpent took advantage of that gap.

Let's quickly prove this, when God instructed Adam about the tree, Eve was not in existence yet but she heard of the information probably from Adam. Now as regards the fruit, God said ".......or in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die....(Gen 2:17) but when Eve will talk about this instruction to the Serpent in chapter 3 verse 3, she said "......God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die...." She exaggerated it! Which was a lie! GOD didn't say they shouldn't touch it....yet...Adam, who had receivedf the command directly from God, still chose to go along with it.

No one forced them. They decided.

The serpent used truth, but twisted it. Eve’s lack of clarity made her vulnerable, and Adam’s silence sealed the deal. Together, their choices led to the fall.

This is not fate neither is it ignorance. The blame rests on the choices Adam and Eve made — plain and simple. 🙌

Let me add this to it "The Bigger Picture"
Here’s where the story stops being ancient and starts being personal.
How often do we do the same thing?
We blame people.
We blame circumstances.
We even blame God.
Yet, many times, it’s our own decisions that put us where we are.
The Adam and Eve story isn’t just about the fall — it’s a mirror. How long can you stay with it? How well can you see yourself in it?

PEACE ✋😌🤚
