I have zero idea 🤭.

But in this context, it makes sense:

Alpha = the firstborns.

Omega = the lastborns.

(Argue with your keyboard 😅)

Just as firstborns are called the womb openers, we are referred to as the womb closers.

Let’s not divert… the question still remains:

Why do people think less of lastborns?

Why is it a must for us to be a maid in my own father’s house?

Why call us lazy and manipulators?

Do people really understand the burden that comes with being a lastborn?

Do they understand what it means to be forced to withhold our opinions and just do as we’re told?

The pain that comes with comparison-being compared to our older siblings?

The pain of being silently hated by our elder ones because they feel they “do it all,” and the youngest “has it easy.”

They forget to sense the rage we carry inside, because they are permitted to flaunt theirs outside.

They get validation-everyone hails them for being the firstborn.

But what happens to the lastborn, whose shoulders the remnants and leftovers are placed on? 🥺

We are the last hope of a bloodline.

We “die last,” yet we’re expected to finish up or conquer what the firstborns failed to achieve.

We’re expected to be the curse breaker, the chain breaker, the pace setter-the divine equipment that salvages and puts the whole family back in line.

Yet… we don’t even have enough bullets to fight all the wars like the rest.

We get little teaching and little validation, but more persecution.

We’re never the first option-we’re the last and least option.

Can it stop already?!!! 🥺

You still don’t get why it should stop?

Let me break it down for you:

They say the youngest has it easy, but no one sees the rage we carry inside.

Most of us grew up watching the fights, the words no one can take back.

We’re the quiet observers-the ones who learned early that speaking up doesn’t always mean being heard.

They call us sensitive or say we “overreact,” but they don’t see how much we’ve been holding in-how every outburst is just years of swallowed feelings.

They think we’re dramatic, but we feel everything deeply.

We became the peace-makers…

The ones who never wanted to be a problem to mummy, so we don’t look ungrateful.

To prove our loyalty for being loved differently, we learned to fix everything-except ourselves.

We carry guilt because we feel we have to pay for the love shown to us.

We swallow disrespect like it’s some nice dish.

We’re left alone to fight social anxiety because no one thinks highly enough of us to place us in a boardroom-they believe we belong in the bedroom.

We learn to heal from things we never even talked about.

We are forced to be the woman no one taught us to be.

Why do we only feel seen when needed? 🚶🏽♀️🚶🏽

So next time you call us manipulative or too emotional, remember...

we survived storms you never saw.

Anways, let me clear the air:

We are not lazyyyy-we are just energy savers.

Keeyra_writes ✍🏽🔥

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Contributor Rankings
The Contributor Rankings shows the Top 20 Contributors on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis.
The all-time ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly score sums the score on all your insights in the past 30 days. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on TwoCents — these are community members that have engaged the most with other user's content.
