Didn’t breathe properly. Didn’t look back.</em></p><p><em>The exit doors were just ahead.</em></p><p><em>Almost there.</em></p><p><em>Almost—</em></p><p><strong>BANG.</strong></p><p><em>The doors slammed shut.</em></p><p><em>Locked.</em></p><p><em>Her reflection’s voice came from behind her.</em></p><p><em>Soft.</em></p><p><em>Calm.</em></p><p><em>Too calm.</em></p><p><em>“You weren’t supposed to leave me in there.”</em></p><p><em>Laurina turned slowly.</em></p><p><em>The other her stood only a few steps away now.</em></p><p><em>Same face.</em></p><p><em>Same clothes.</em></p><p><em>But the eyes—</em></p><p><em>The eyes were empty.</em></p><p><em>Her phone buzzed one last time.</em></p><p><em>Unknown Number.</em></p><p><em>Room 17 always keeps one.</em></p><p><em>Laurina’s heart dropped.</em></p><p><em>“What do you want from me?” she whispered.</em></p><p><em>The reflection tilted its head.</em></p><p><em>And smiled.</em></p><p><em>“We just need to switch places.”</em></p><p><em>The lights went out.</em></p><p><em>Laurina screamed—</em></p><p><em>—</em></p><p><em>Monday morning, the school buzzed with normal chatter.</em></p><p><em>Students filled the halls.</em></p><p><em>Teachers called for silence.</em></p><p><em>And near the library…</em></p><p><em>Laurina walked calmly down the corridor.</em></p><p><em>Smiling.</em></p><p><em>Behind the glass of Room 17’s mirror…</em></p><p><em>Someone pounded desperately from the inside.</em></p><p><em>But no one heard.</em></p><p><strong>THE END</strong></p>
