Title: “The Space Between”

She always noticed him in the quietest moments—the way his fingers lingered a second longer on a coffee cup, the way his eyes searched the room like they were always chasing a memory.

They were colleagues. Nothing more, officially. But the space between them had grown heavier each day. It wasn’t filled with words or glances—it was filled with unspoken tension, the kind that hums beneath the skin like a low current.

One evening, the office was nearly empty. Rain whispered against the windows. She stood at the printer, papers in hand, when he stepped beside her—close enough for warmth, far enough for denial.

“Late again,” he said.

She nodded, aware of the way her pulse shifted when he looked at her like that—like she was a sentence he wanted to finish with his mouth, not his voice.

“It’s the quiet,” she murmured. “It makes everything louder.”

His hand brushed hers—not an accident, not this time. Silence expanded between them, thick with questions neither dared ask. But she didn’t move away. And he didn’t pull back.

When she finally turned to face him, his gaze dropped to her lips, then lifted—checking for permission in her eyes.

It wasn’t a kiss that followed. It was a confession made in the language of breath and skin. Slow. Intentional. Electric.

He touched her like she was fragile glass, but kissed her like he wanted to shatter her and remake her in the shape of his longing.

And in that moment, there were no rules. No office. No consequences.

Only two people who had spent too long in the space between.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
