THE TWO DOORS

There was once a wealthy man who lived in a beautiful mansion. His house was full of food, expensive clothes, and everything money could buy. Yet, every night, he sat alone, afraid that someone would take what he had.

Down the road lived a poor farmer in a small house. He had little money, but whenever a neighbor was hungry, he shared his food. Whenever someone was sad, he offered them a listening ear. His home was small, but it was always filled with laughter.

One evening, the wealthy man visited the farmer and asked, “How can you be happy when you have so little?”

The farmer smiled and replied, “Because I measure my wealth by what I can give, not by what I can keep.”

The wealthy man returned home and looked around his mansion. For the first time, he realized that he owned many things but very few things truly belonged to his heart.

Deep Meaning:

Poverty can limit what a person owns, but it does not have to limit their kindness, dignity, dreams, or happiness. Wealth can provide comfort, but money alone cannot buy peace, genuine relationships, or a meaningful life.

The real question is not, “How much do you have?” but, “What kind of person has your wealth made you?”
