...he bought the bags of pure water I brought as usual and I thanked him with joy written all over my face. He asked me if the sun wasn't much. I said it's not, I am used to it due to my nature of work. He asked me to hop in that we were going to a refreshing place to cool me off. I hesitated at first then told him I would be back. I went to Mama Okpe and told her of this man's request. She adviced me to go that he is a God sent. I heeded her advice and went with them. I say at the back seat of the car. Initially the driver's friend wanted me to come over to the passenger seat and I declined saying I was fine here. So this God sent Man introduced himself to me. His name is Mr Dave. He said he's been seeing me around and how hard I work to make sure I sell of everything I came out with. I was shy and asked if he has been watching me all this while. His friend turned back and made to introduce himself as well and then Mr Dave hit him on the side to focus. We laughed.

Next thing we were on this street with beautiful houses; the kind of houses you see on Tv. I was just looking like a village girl. Not that I was, I actually haven't had a taste of luxury. I was just saying a silent prayer to God to help my mum so we can enjoy as well. Who no like better thing? I turned to Mr Dave to ask him where we were headed and he said he needed to stop at his house to get something. I told him there was no problem.

When we got to his place, his house was incredibly big and spacious. It was a 2-bedroom apartment. I just clutched my bag by my side as we went inside. He said I should make myself comfortable...the normal thing they say that still gets you uncomfortable. He asked if I needed anything and I just asked for water. He asked his friend to get it for me. He turned on the TV and sat close to me. "Oh yes! I haven't gotten to know you properly my dear". He said staring right into my soul while smiling and rubbing his palms together. I moved uncomfortably on the couch and told him my name was Ama. He looked at me for awhile and then gave this flirty smile. Then he told me it was nice meeting me. He stood up and went inside and then his friend came with water I asked for and a plate of jollof rice accompanied with juice. Told him I wasn't hungry and he was like I should come off it that I should learn to be free and not always uptight that it won't do me any good. From the way he talked, I didn't really like him because he sounded persuasive. I just took the glass of water and drank. He stood up from where he was seated and came close to me. He told me he likes me. Told me he feels like Dave is just flirting with me and that he has to tell me before I develop any weird feelings because he cares. He kept talking and talking as Dave walked in and he shifted...

rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
