ANXIETY’S VOICE
<p>Sometimes,I wonder if this journey’s worth it.</p><p>Many times,I’ve longed to throw it all away and embrace defeat.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every day, I battle, my motivation wearing thin.</p><p>For once, I’d like to know what victory feels like within.</p><p><br/></p><p>Fear and anxiety cling to me like chains.</p><p>I ask myself, “How do I escape from these endless pains?”</p><p><br/></p><p>I leave pieces of myself in every attempt.</p><p>I give my all until there’s nothing left.</p><p>Yet one question steals my rest :</p><p>“What if my best… is never enough?”</p><p><br/></p><p>There I go again-</p><p>Letting those same thoughts tighten their reign,</p><p>Whose whispers bring me endless pain.</p><p><br/></p><p>Before every obstacle , I feel smaller.</p><p>Just once ,I’d like confidence to be my armor.</p><p><br/></p><p>I tell myself “you will not fail”.</p><p>Yet Anxiety laughs:</p><p>“You still won’t prevail”.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then I realized.</p><p>It wasn’t failure speaking to me ,</p><p>It was Anxiety’s voice ,</p><p>Trying to convince me I could never be free.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still ,tomorrow waits, </p><p>Though my knees my shake,</p><p>I’ll rise once more ,whatever it may take.</p><p>Though the voice grows loud and cloud my way ,</p><p>I’ll take another step anyway.</p>
