A broth worth dying for. Fresh meat broth.</p><p><br/></p><p>You'd be my commis today, let's begin.</p><p><br/></p><p>Soft music plays in the kitchen. An ingredient sits bound.</p><p><br/></p><p>1 litre of water.</p><p>Bring it to a boil. A scalding temperature.</p><p><br/></p><p>2 garlic cloves.</p><p>Slice them.</p><p><br/></p><p>3 types of vegetables.</p><p>Wash and slice them.</p><p><br/></p><p>1,2,3 the cooking begins…</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh, how those “hums” inspire me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I sharpen the Cleaver. The steak knife gleaming in the kitchen light.</p><p><br/></p><p>I hum louder.</p><p><br/></p><p>Soft music echoes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Shrieks flow under the stove's glow.</p><p><br/></p><p>I dice the carrots, and sautee the onions.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmm, what a lovely scent.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now, close your eyes, dear one. I wouldn't want you to share my recipe.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'll guide you.</p><p><br/></p><p>(The blindfold tightens around your eyes)</p><p><br/></p><p>For the final ingredient, (I hum), the secret ingredient, <strong>you</strong>.</p><p><br/></p><p>One swift move...</p><p><br/></p><p>The humming stops.</p><p><br/></p><p>I guess you'll never see the secret ingredient.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Bon Appetit</strong>.</p>
