"CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE"
<p><span style='font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;'>Lately,</span></p><p>I’ve been asking questions </p><p>not about the world, </p><p>but about myself. </p><p>Uncomfortable ones. </p><p>Quiet ones that scream in my head.</p><p><br/></p><p>Am I a good person? </p><p>Or just good at playing the role? </p><p>Wearing smiles like costumes, </p><p>Being friendly like it’s a duty, </p><p>Sitting on fences so long, </p><p>I forgot what it feels like to choose a side.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m friends with you. </p><p>And I’m friends with them. </p><p>But when your worlds collide</p><p>Where do I stand? </p><p>If I speak, I’m biased. </p><p>If I’m silent, I’m fake. </p><p>If I support you, I lose them. </p><p>If I support them, I lose me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ve tried so hard to be everyone’s peace, </p><p>That I’ve become my own battlefield.</p><p><br/></p><p>Is this growth? </p><p>Or confusion dressed up in self-doubt? </p><p>Is this me evolving… </p><p>Or disappearing?</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t want to be perfect. </p><p>I just want to be real. </p><p>But in a world that asks you to pick sides, </p><p>Being real feels like rebellion.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I’m not lost. </p><p>Maybe I’m just… </p><p>finally searching.</p>
