Childhood memories
<p>If only wishes could come true, I’d have wished to go back 20 years ago.</p><p>I remember when I used to pray to be an adult, now I pray to be a child again.</p><p>I want to be free, the responsibilities of adulthood is making me grow hunchback.</p><p>I want to be scolded and flogged, and be told to do the right thing, now I’m not been scolded and flogged but it feels like I’m not doing the right thing too.</p><p>I miss when we used to see our kites as private jets, back then you have to own a kite to be among the cool kids.</p><p>My mother, she used to buy extra threads for us so we don’t use hers to play with kites.</p><p>Life wasn’t smooth growing up but it was better than the way it is now.</p><p>At least 5k could carry us for a month unlike now 100k feels like 1k </p><p>Ughhhh I want to be a child again, I want to be bathed, clothed, asked what I’d like to eat , pampered, and cherished.</p><p>If I could turn back the hands of time, I’d still be with Bobby playing under mama baby’s tree, catching lizards for only God knows why 😂, we were just happy to catch lizards. Rest in peace Bobby.</p><p>What about marvelous, she dreamed of becoming a nurse, we once operated on a pregnant rat and guys I’m not even joking 🥲, but guess who’s a nurse now? Marvelous </p><p>I had a dream tho, I wanted to become a caterer but you know African parents and selecting their own choice for you. </p><p>But well, it is what it is.</p><p>We can’t do anything about the past times. </p>
