It was the morning of my birthday.

I received a text from my school daddy.

“Hey momma, happy birthday. How about I take you out this evening for your birthday?”

I was reluctant.

Something about the invitation made me uneasy.

But my friends wouldn't let me hear the end of it.

“Babe, go joor! Make this guy spoil you with money.”

I eventually agreed.

After all, in my twenty years of living, I had never been to a club before.

So that evening, I went out with him.

At first, everything was fun.

The music was loud. People were laughing. We talked and danced.

Then they brought out a cake.

“Happy birthday!”

I smiled.

I ate.

I drank some alcohol.

And the last thing I remember…

Everything went dark.

---

I woke up on my bed.

My head was pounding.

“Damn… where is my roomie?”

Then I remembered my exam.

My birthday was on Sunday, and I had a paper on Monday.

I grabbed my phone.

Twenty missed calls from Mummy.

I quickly called her back.

“Where have you been?!” she screamed the moment she picked up. “I've been calling you non-stop for a week!”

I was confused.

“What do you mean? You called me yesterday to wish me a happy birthday.”

There was silence.

Then she said,

“Are you serious? Your birthday was last week.”

My head started pounding.

I checked the date.

She was right.

My birthday had been a week ago.

I had completely blanked out for an entire week.

I immediately called my school daddy.

He picked up.

“I need to talk to you,” I said.

“I'll talk to you later.”

And that was it.

He stopped picking up my calls after that.

I missed three papers while I was unconscious.

I cried.

I was angry.

I was confused.

But eventually, I decided to move on.

Or at least, I thought I had.

Five months later…

I started feeling a strange discomfort around my stomach.

At first, I ignored it.

It wasn't severe, so I convinced myself it was nothing.

My stomach hadn't changed much either. If anything, I looked almost the same.

The only strange thing was my period.

Sometimes, I would bleed a little, but it would last only a day.

I didn't think much of it.

Until one afternoon, the discomfort became worse.

I went to the hospital.

After a series of tests, the doctor walked in with a strange expression.

“You're pregnant.”

I laughed nervously.

“Pregnant?”

“Yes.”

I stared at him.

“No… that's impossible.”

He looked at the test results.

“You're approximately five months pregnant.”

My heart stopped.

Five months?

I looked down at my stomach.

It wasn't huge. There was barely anything that made me look pregnant.

“But I still see my period sometimes,” I whispered.

The doctor explained that the bleeding wasn't a true menstrual period and that bleeding could sometimes occur during pregnancy.

I couldn't hear him anymore.

My mind was racing.

Five months pregnant.

How?

I had never had s*x.

At least… that's what I believed.

Then suddenly—

The club.

The cake.

The alcohol.

The darkness.

The missing week.

My school daddy.

My breathing became heavy.

For five months, I had been carrying something I didn't even know existed.

And now, one terrifying thought wouldn't leave my mind.

What happened to me that night?

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
