Electricity palava 😟
<p>“It’s gone again” that was the voice of frustration I heard from my neighbor.</p><p></p><p>I opened my door to check if the voice resonates with the thought in my head and yes, truly, this time we might not see it until the “next one to two weeks “ I confirm affirming to the frustration of my neighbor.</p><p><br/></p><p>You might have been wondering “what’s gone?” and what was my discussion and affirmation with my neighbor about?</p><p><br/></p><p>Sorry I kept you wondering, it’s our electricity, Nepa light as fondly called in Nigeria, it’s off again and this time we have no idea nor hope of when it’ll be back again after enjoying it for almost a week uninterruptedly.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ever since the increase in tariffs by the power holding company, our once ever stable and ever reliable electricity has transitioned to the story of the “good old days “ while generator noise has been the order of the day due to incessant power supply. As you’re buying data, you’re saving for fuel.</p><p><br/></p><p>Back to the frustration shared with my neighbors, we might truly not have electricity in the next two to three weeks. Our story has been that of one who collected the wife of Nepa head officer and had automatically summon darkness. </p><p><br/></p><p>A grace to grass story of an unfair distribution of electricity. An area that once enjoyed interrupted supply of power now barely has a week total of supply in a month. Yes! The frustration, the shared pain, the money for fuel that goes up in smoke “it’s gone again “ echoed by my neighbor and this time we don’t know when it’s going to be back again.</p><p></p><p>Share with me if you've experienced my area situation 😹🥺</p><p><br/></p>
