Welcome to the Kuli-Kuli and Akara Economy

“Buy your hot akara here!”

“Fresh kuli-kuli made with love!”

“Freshly harvested corn here—buy three, get one free!”

Guys, I’ve started my business. Please patronize me.

This is the exact dilemma the Tinubu administration has forced us into. We have the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria telling Nigerian youths to survive by selling akara, kuli-kuli, and corn, while she sits comfortably in her air-conditioned office and her children never have to feel the heat of Nigeria’s scorching sun.

Every day I ask myself: who are they fooling? Us? Or themselves?

While other governments are actively building up their nations and driving down unemployment, the Nigerian government is handing out meager grants designed to keep its citizens trapped in poverty.

This administration is a total disgrace to humanity. In due course, every single one of them will have a taste of their own medicine.

Welcome to Nigeria—the supposed "Giant of Africa."
