I wasn't lost, just distracted.
<p><br/></p><p>It’s been a minute since I last wrote.</p><p>Not because I ran out of words —</p><p>I just stopped wasting them on people who didn’t deserve to hear them.</p><p><br/></p><p>The past few weeks? Yeah… messy.</p><p>Believed things I shouldn’t have. Trusted someone who was better at talking than being real.</p><p>And for a second, I almost convinced myself I was the one losing.</p><p>Funny.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/59953f29aed53741edd8217d07089506.jpg"/></p><p>Because all I really lost was time : and even that? I’m taking back.</p><p><br/></p><p>I won’t lie, it got to me.</p><p>Had me feeling off, like I was drifting, like I wasn’t doing enough with my life.</p><p>But looking back now… I wasn’t lost.</p><p>I was just distracted.</p><p>There’s a difference.</p><p><br/></p><p>So I stepped back. Went quiet.</p><p>Not to break , but to rebuild without noise, without opinions, without lies.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's been a month plus since I’ve written.</p><p>A whole month of resetting, rethinking, and remembering exactly who I am.</p><p>And honestly?</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m not the same person I was when I stopped.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m better.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/3f327a92d39d9d3e9fe225c1e55e6927.jpg"/></p><p>Not softer. Not easier to read.</p><p>Just more aware, more careful… and way less available.</p><p><br/></p><p>If there’s anything this taught me, it’s simple:</p><p>you don’t beg for consistency, you don’t chase clarity, and you definitely don’t shrink yourself to keep anyone comfortable.</p><p>People show you who they are.</p><p>You just have to decide if you’re paying attention or making excuses.</p><p><br/></p><p>As for me?</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m done explaining, done being too available and done ignoring red flags just because I see potential.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ll always pick myself. Every single time.</p><p><br/></p><p>So yeah… I’m writing again.</p><p><br/></p><p>Just not the same way I used to.</p>
