In my Imagination.

"In My Imagination"

TwoCents family, make i yarn you one tory. Them talk say imagination no get limits.

I agree... because mine doesn't even recognize the existence of poverty.

In my imagination, I am ridiculously wealthy. Not "I can pay my bills" wealthy,I mean the kind of wealthy where my bank app takes a few minutes to calculate my balance because there are too many zeros.

In my imagination, I don't check price tags. If I like it, I buy it. If I really like it, I buy two. The cashier smiles at me, the security guard greets me by hailing my name "Abisolinaaa", and the store manager personally escorts me to my car.

Reality, however, has a different plan.

Sometimes I pick an item from the shelf, look at the price, quietly return it, and pretend I was only checking the expiry date.

In my imagination, I own a mansion so big that visitors need directions just to find the kitchen.🥸 My bedroom has a walk-in closet larger than some apartments. My compound is so spacious that if someone says, "I'm outside," I still have to ask, "Outside where?"

In reality...

My room and the kitchen are practically neighbours. If I sneeze in the bedroom, someone in the sitting room says, "Bless you!"

In my imagination, I own luxury cars for every occasion. One for business meetings, one for weekend outings, one for vacations, and another that I drive simply because the weather looks nice.🤗

Reality says, "Oga, transport fare nko?"

In my imagination, I travel around the world whenever I feel bored.

"Where are you this weekend?"

"Oh, Switzerland. I just needed fresh air, tomorrow na Dubai, next London or Maldives.🤣

Reality replies, "Fresh air dey outside your house. Come out first."😭

In my imagination, my phone never hangs, my battery never dies, and my internet connection is always fast.

Reality chooses the exact moment I'm uploading this story to remind me that "Network Error" is still a thing.

In my imagination, my mother calls me and says,

"My child, we need a little money."

I ask, "How much?"

She says, "₦500,000."

I laugh and reply,

"Mummy, is that all? Check your account."

Reality hears this conversation and starts laughing louder than both of us, Kuku see me finish. 😭

In my imagination, whenever I enter a bank, the manager comes out to greet me personally.

"Welcome back, sir. We've been expecting you."🤗

Reality enters the bank and joins a queue long enough to qualify as a tourist attraction.🥺

In my imagination, my wardrobe is filled with designer clothes, expensive wristwatches, polished shoes, and perfumes that announce my arrival before I even enter the room.

Reality says, "This shirt still looks good. Nobody will know you've worn it three times this week."

And honestly... nobody knows.

Or at least, that's what I choose to believe.

In my imagination, I eat at five-star restaurants where the waiter respectfully asks,😋

"Would you like the usual, sir?"

Reality is standing in front of a food vendor calculating whether adding an extra piece of meat will affect next week's budget.

Sometimes, I even negotiate with myself.

"Let's leave the meat today. The stew knows what it did."

In my imagination, I employ hundreds of people.

Every December, I give out bonuses, scholarships, and gifts. I pay school fees for children, build houses for widows, and sponsor businesses for young entrepreneurs.

That part of my imagination isn't even about luxury.

It's about being able to help people without first checking my account balance.

Because the truth is, one of the greatest feelings in the world must be seeing someone's tears turn into smiles simply because you were in a position to help.

Then reality gently taps me on the shoulder.

"My brother... you still dey hustle."

And I reply,

"I know,but make I dream small."😎

The funny thing is that my imagination is so detailed that I sometimes catch myself smiling for no reason. In my head, I've already attended award ceremonies, delivered motivational speeches, bought my dream house, travelled across continents, and even argued with an interior designer over the colour of the marble floor in my mansion.

Meanwhile, in real life, I'm still arguing with my mobile network provider.

Yet, I refuse to stop imagining.

Because every great achievement was once someone's imagination.

Every successful person first saw a future that didn't yet exist.

So yes, my imagination may currently be richer than my reality.

It may be more polished, more extravagant, and far more luxurious.

But who knows?

One day, reality might finally decide to catch up.

Until then... If you see me smiling alone, please don't interrupt me.

I might be in Monaco closing a billion-dollar deal.

Or buying my fifth Rolls-Royce.

Or telling Dangote, "Oga, don't worry. I'll handle this one."

Na my imagination everything dey happen sha...

Reality go just tap me for shoulder: "Oga,your account balance dan enter the valley of the shadow of death" 🥴🙆‍♀️

Sometimes I go dey smile alone because the life wey I dey enjoy for my head no resemble the one wey I dey live outside.

But no wahala,Today na imagination, by God's grace reality go collect the script and surprise all of us. 😉

Make I dey go ouse before I go dey imagine say na me get twoCents.🥸😂🥸
