When life unfolds beautifully, we beam and declare, “It was meant to be.” When everything collapses, we shrug and whisper, “It wasn’t in the cards.” We’ve turned destiny into the ultimate scapegoat for whatever slips beyond our control.

But what if the entire idea is fiction?

What if “destiny” is merely a comforting illusion we invented to soothe the terror of a random, indifferent universe?

Accepting this truth is uncomfortable. It strips away the cozy narrative that’s comforted humanity for generations. Billions find peace in the notion of a hidden master plan—where every triumph, disaster, romance, and failure was scripted long ago. This belief cushions the blows and paints purpose onto our suffering.

Now try another perspective.

Imagine two people launching from identical starting points. One spends ten years grinding skills, building networks, and risking failure. The other sits back, waiting for the universe to “align” and hand them their destiny. A decade later, their lives look unrecognizable.

Can we honestly blame the stars for that divergence?

Or is it the quiet accumulation of countless small decisions?

We downplay our own power because owning it feels burdensome. It’s easier to blame a cruel or mysterious cosmos than to confront the moments we chose comfort over courage, silence over action, or hesitation over boldness.

Yet veering into the fantasy of total control is just as delusional.

None of us chose our origins—our genetics, our early environment, or the sudden storms that can wreck years of progress in an instant. A health scare, economic collapse, or random tragedy can shatter the best-laid plans. We are never completely in the driver’s seat.

The real insight lies beyond this false binary.

What if destiny is not a fixed path, but simply the hand we’re dealt at birth? Our choices determine how we play it.

> The universe may shuffle and deal the cards, but we decide how to bet, fold, or go all in.

No matter where you land on the spectrum—cosmic order, pure chance, or radical self-determination—one truth remains unshakable: your next action matters more than your latest rationalization.

Stop asking, “Is this what fate intends for me?” Start asking, “What move am I making today to shape the future I want?”

Because whether a grand design exists or not, it still demands your active participation. And if none does, then your decisions are the only thing that ever mattered.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
