MARRIAGE PROPOSAL MYSTERY
<p>Attraction can get your attention.</p><p>But it should never make your biggest decision.</p><p>When you truly like someone and you're considering marriage, don't rush to conclusions.</p><p>Instead...</p><p>Set aside three weeks.</p><p>Pray earnestly in tongues about that person.</p><p>As you stay consistent in prayer, you'll receive a conviction.</p><p>Either you'll have peace to move forward...</p><p>Or you'll know it's time to reconsider.</p><p>Here's why this matters.</p><p>Sometimes, the person God has prepared for you doesn't look like the picture your flesh has already created.</p><p>You've imagined your "Instagram husband" or your "dream wife."</p><p>Then God sends someone who doesn't match that image.</p><p>And that's exactly how many people miss the person God sent to them.</p><p>You should have seen what I looked like when I went to meet my wife.</p><p>If you ever saw those pictures...</p><p><br/></p><p>You'd understand why I've asked for them to be destroyed. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>Even I was shocked when I looked at them later.</p><p>I had seen myself in the mirror before I approached her.</p><p>I'm handsome now.</p><p>But back then?</p><p>No.</p><p>Not at all.</p><p>One day, I actually asked my wife,</p><p>*"How did you manage to accept my proposal?"*</p><p>Because I was everything...</p><p>Except handsome.</p><p>My stomach was so flat from dry fasting that it looked like it had disappeared.</p><p>My neck was unusually long.</p><p>No matter what suit I wore, I looked like a giraffe wearing formal clothes.</p><p>Yet...</p><p>She said yes.</p><p>Why?</p><p>She prayed.</p><p>And she heard God.</p><p>God is always right.</p><p>That's why your spirit must remain alive and sensitive.</p><p>Don't let a single day pass without praying in tongues for at least two hours, no matter how busy your schedule is.</p><p>There is no shortcut to divine direction.</p><p>It comes by starving the flesh...</p><p>And strengthening your spirit.</p><p>As you remain in a posture of prayer, the Holy Spirit can stir your heart and send a signal that becomes impossible to ignore.</p><p>He may speak through your thoughts.</p><p>Through dreams.</p><p>Through visions.</p><p>But you'll recognize His direction because your spirit has been prepared to receive it.</p><p>So read the Bible.</p><p>Trust the Bible.</p><p>Believe the Bible.</p><p>Obey the Bible.</p><p>As Scripture says:</p><p>*"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."* — Proverbs 3:5–6</p>
