MY PARADISE
<p>What is paradise? </p><p>Religious folks say it's a place we go when we die</p><p>Philosophers believe it is within us</p><p>But what do I believe? </p><p>I believe we chose our paradise</p><p>That place or person that just feels perfect</p><p>Like the world doesn't exist outside them</p><p>Their irregularities become specialties</p><p>And suddenly when you look at her... </p><p>Her eyes turn from brown to gold</p><p>So much that I begin to fold</p><p>Her light skin starts to shimmer</p><p>Brighter than all the stars that glimmer</p><p>Her hair, even in their worst state </p><p>Begin to look like a garden of roses</p><p>One where an artist sits down and composes... </p><p>Melodies, rhythms and beats</p><p>But in all of this you're the one who cheats</p><p>Cause your voice begins to sound like an echo</p><p>In which a thousand angels above and below</p><p>Bow to in awe </p><p>But I'm the only one who saw </p><p>The perfect vessel in which perfection is the output</p><p>When you walk</p><p>I let you lead the way</p><p>And I follow you blindly</p><p>Cause when I'm with you the only path I see is the one you've thread</p><p>Oh and your touch</p><p>Rearranges my atoms, splits my molecules and bends my mind</p><p>And in that moment with your skin against mine even in the slightest. </p><p>My hormones reach the highest, lowest and highest again</p><p>Because it is a spell</p><p>That I am bound to in heaven, earth and the great abyss</p><p>My paradise</p><p>My Eden</p><p>My hope</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
