NOT EVERYONE WHO SMILES IS HAPPY
<p><br/></p><p>We have become very good at hiding.</p><p><br/></p><p>We say “I'm fine” when we're falling apart.</p><p><br/></p><p>We laugh in rooms where our hearts are heavy.</p><p><br/></p><p>We post beautiful pictures while fighting ugly battles nobody knows about.</p><p><br/></p><p>We tell people, “God is good,” while secretly wondering if God still remembers us.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes, the person everyone envies is the person desperately wishing someone would ask,</p><p><br/></p><p>“Are you really okay?”</p><p><br/></p><p>So be careful about judging people from what you see.</p><p><br/></p><p>The quiet person may be fighting the loudest battle.</p><p><br/></p><p>The person who always encourages everyone may secretly need encouragement.</p><p><br/></p><p>The person who seems to have everything together may be one bad day away from breaking.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the person who stopped talking may not be proud, rude, or arrogant.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe they simply got tired of explaining pain to people who only wanted to judge it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Be kinder.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because everyone deserves your trust.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because everyone is innocent.</p><p><br/></p><p>But because you never truly know what someone is carrying behind the face they show the world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, a simple:</p><p><br/></p><p>“How are you, really?”</p><p><br/></p><p>can mean more than a thousand motivational speeches.</p><p><br/></p><p>And if nobody has asked you today...</p><p><br/></p><p>Are you really okay?</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't have to pretend with God.</p><p><br/></p><p>©️ Sammy Góld </p>
