<p>Wickedness runs within all humans. </p><p>Though, it manifests in different ways. Some manipulate, some kill, some lie, some deceive, some just exist for that purpose.</p><p>Some weeks ago, a couple of students were called to panel in a University for an offence that is punishable by jail time or death in some countries. </p><p>This is an offence that doesn't actually harm other people. An offence that was the whole being of this beings but they weren't allowed expression in their own form. </p><p>They faced panel for just existing; for their nature.</p><p>What saddened and still saddens me was the behaviour towards these beings and the look of disgust that surrounded the faces of each panelists. </p><p>None of these beings were given a fair trial because their fate had already been decided before they even got to the hot seat and the matriculation robe was worn.</p><p>Each of the panelists laughed and ridiculed each of these beings for being how they were. They threatened them, shamed them, cursed on them, and threw insults in their faces. </p><p>The panelists were grown-ups and these grown-ups referred to themselves as Christians and parents, but embodied zero qualities of either. </p><p>They judged and judged and lied and these beings were left questioning their identities after that session, </p><p>"Am I really condemned? Is my nature a sin? How can something so peaceful and pure be associated with filth and scorn? Why was I born this way if everything I feel is wrong?"</p><p>Life feels incomplete when your whole being; your whole sense of self is in question.</p><p>People preach about kindness, but when it comes to performing the action of the same, they fail. </p><p>This world will be a higher percentage better if most people chose kindness the same way they choose to hurt. </p><p>Or to followers of Christ, what does the Lord say and what did His Son practice when He came down to this Earth? And to followers of other Gods, what do yours say?</p><p>Practice what you preach, please or else you might leave an irreversible mark on innocent beings who are just trying their best to navigate this world. You might not believe in something, but that's where inquisitiveness comes in. Question things. Find answers and understand, rather than judge.</p><p>Be the person who overcomes the default nature of the human race and we're one step closer to achieving a better world. Moreso, you're one step closer to being a better person. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>…TomiTheWordPecker 📝🐦⬛.</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
