"Start without me, I'll join you at the End"
<p>23:57pm</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm wide awake in my room. Everywhere's devoid of light.</p><p>Silence...</p><p>except the distant generator sounds nearby. </p><p>It seems not everyone has retired to their beds. </p><p><br/></p><p>I keep thinking of what to write.</p><p>It does feel like my brain, as intricate in design and wonderfully created as it is, </p><p>Feels tired and isn't able to communicate the necessary and proper commands for my centre of creativity to function. </p><p><br/></p><p>So I just lay by myself,</p><p>Waiting...</p><p>Waiting...</p><p>Waiting for her to kick-start!</p><p>*Silence*</p><p><br/></p><p>It's quite bad that I can even hear the beats of my own heart,</p><p>*Dum* *Dum* *Dum*</p><p>As now they've become so much more pronounced.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm now staring at the ceiling.</p><p>And looking at what seems to be the particles in the air</p><p>Because my brain has abandoned me in this journey.</p><p>Is this the end?</p><p>She should be my companion, </p><p>But she has just left her partner (ME) stranded, to</p><p>"Fend for yourself!"</p><p><br/></p><p>So, I just write,</p><p>Hoping as I do, surely she'll look upon me with eyes of mercy and assist.</p><p>So, I write and write </p><p>Until sense is made, </p><p>And I feel the presence of my companion in my head.</p><p><br/></p><p>At first it's silence, </p><p>Then it's a glimpse.</p><p>Then it's resilience. </p><p>And then, I hear,</p><p>"Start without me.
