Papa où t'es?
<p>Absence they say makes the heart grow fonder, but that’s not the case when a father abandons his family and still claiming rights, I felt stupid for ever thinking we could be a happy family, I was too young too young to understand, now I’m starting to say I want no part of it, I see on my friends status how they love their fathers because of how responsible he is, how they don’t want him to ever feel he’s failed them, but can I say the same?</p><p>He lost his credibility because I grew up and saw this wasn’t the life I wanted, I don’t want this for myself neither did my own children when the time is right, gathering at every family meeting and they always talk bad about him is another type of trauma, I may not know the full story but at least don’t act like the monster they say you are, I’ve lost words, sometimes I feel pity in my heart, I still love him he’s my father, but why was I chosen to bear it all?</p><p>You’ve played the wrong card, but I still haven’t won the game, I ask myself where was he all this time, you weren’t dead but you were surely a ghost, how can I even take your side in all this, it’s just my cross to bear, it’s my wound that’ll take a while to heal and I’m being patient and willing to take that long road.</p>
