Sunday Twists S1E1 unraveled
<p>Happy Sunday again! Twocents famz😌</p><p>Just don't tell me the reason why you didn't go to church... GOD will have mercy on you😒🤭...</p><p>So welcome to another Sunday Twist series where controversial issues in the Bible and Christian body will be ironed out. So to last week's twist question briefly, we were asked who the generational covenant made with Abraham fell upon among Jacob's sons and we had two outstanding candidates (Judah and Joseph), with the research I made...I found out something.</p><p>The answer is ...1 Chronicles 5:1-2 (emphasis on verse 2)</p><blockquote><span style="background-color: transparent;">1. "The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (he was the firstborn, but because he defiled his father’s marriage bed, his rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel; so he could not be listed in the genealogical records in accordance with his birthright)"</span></blockquote><blockquote><span style="background-color: transparent;">2. "For Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came the leader; yet the birthright was Joseph’s—</span></blockquote><p>Yes, it was on Joseph, quick explanation:</p><p>According to custom, the blessings of the father falls on who has the birthright which is automatically the first born ( that was why the birthright had to fall to Jacob from Esau) so among Jacob's sons, Reuben the firstborn has received a curse already (covenant shifted) Simeon and Levi who were next also received curses and the next in line was Judah, but GOD decided to choose Joseph to officially carry that birthright/covenant. That is another reason why Joseph's story was told in full among his brothers, He carried the blessings and covenant that was why those dreams, calamities and experiences happened to him.</p><p>Yet in respect to that custom,GOD:</p><p>✓Made Judah's tribe great.</p><p>✓Made Jesus Christ come from him.</p><p>So those who chose Joseph 👏👏, those who chose Judah 👏👏.... everyone is correct!!😹 If you have counters, questions or anything at all..
