I often ask myself, How do I get better at what I want to do? How do I improve? How do I gain insight or even become AN INSIGHT? How do I overcome obstacles?

Talking about overcoming obstacles, my biggest obstacle might just be the "PrOCrAsTiNaToR IN ME"

Uhmmm.... you saw that right.

The procrastinator in me....It really is Me!

I often say, “I procrastinate too much,” as though procrastination is some separate thing that happen to me like this procrastinator is something somewhere outside of me, making decisions on my behalf.

But there it isn't

There is just me.

The same me who has things she wants to accomplish, dreams she wants to pursue, and a life she wants to built, the same me who chooses tomorrow over today.

That same me is the Procrastinator

That realization is uncomfortable, but perhaps it is also freeing.

Because if the procrastinator is in me, then so is the person who can choose differently.

Behind every delayed task, there might be fear, uncertainty, perfectionism, tiredness, distraction, or simply the comfort of doing what feels easier in the moment. Understanding that doesn't mean excusing myself. It means learning myself.

I don't need to hate the procrastinator in me into disappearing.

This procrastination has cost me alot, alot that I had to sit and understand her.

I need to understand her.

I need to ask ,What are you avoiding? What are you afraid of ?Why does starting feel so difficult? What are you choosing instead, and why?

Maybe, discipline isn't about becoming harsh with myself. Maybe it is about becoming honest enough with myself to do what needs to be done even when I don't feel like doing it.

Growth isn't always dramatic....it should not be dramatic.

Sometimes, it looks like starting five minutes earlier than yesterday.

Opening the book.

Writing the first sentence.

Finishing the thing I've been postponing.

Trying again after failing.

Doing something badly before I learn how to do it well.

Choosing the difficult beginning over the comfortable delay.

Maybe the procrastinator in me isn't an enemy I need to destroy.

Maybe she is simply a part of me that has learned to choose comfort over courage.

And perhaps becoming better isn't about defeating her once and for all.

Maybe, it is about teaching her a new way to live

And maybe the first step isn't becoming the person I want to be.

Maybe, it is becoming the person who begins to be consistent regardless of what is

Because the Procrastinator is Me in Me.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
