A book published in the 1990s titled "The Beautiful Ones Are Yet to Be Born" offers timeless wisdom on self discovery and purposeful living. By exploring the classic questions Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why we can better understand how to structure our lives with clarity, direction, and impact.

WHO

Who are you? This is the most important question we must ask ourselves. As the saying goes, “If you can discover yourself, you will be yourself.” Knowing your identity is the foundation of everything else. It naturally leads to the next question.

WHAT

What can you do? What are you naturally good at? No man is an island. The world will always have a need for your unique abilities and gifts. Identifying your strengths helps you contribute meaningfully and create value.

WHERE

Where do you belong? This is about positioning finding the right environment where your talents can flourish. As a popular Yoruba saying goes: “A thing is called what its owner calls it.” You must locate your own place of value, the space where you can truly excel.

WHEN

When is the right time? Time is infinite, but human life is finite. The moment we choose to act determines the value and impact of our efforts. Timing is everything understanding “When” helps us act with urgency and wisdom rather than procrastination or haste.

HOW

How will it be done? While people often focus on results, the process matters. As economists say, “The end determines the means.” Society may care most about outcomes and quality service, but thoughtful execution ensures sustainable and ethical success.

WHY

Why are you doing it? This is the evaluation question the one that brings everything together. It should come early in our thinking so it can shape every other decision. Always ask “Why” to gain clarity, stay motivated, and ensure your actions are meaningful and aligned with your purpose.

In our childhood, a popular musician reminded us:

“We are the chosen generation… and we know who we are.”

This generation and every generation still needs to answer these fundamental questions. The beautiful ones are yet to be born, but they will only emerge when we consciously apply the 5Ws and H to design lives of purpose, excellence, and lasting impact.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
