<p>The Cracked Pot</p><p>An old woman fetched water every morning from the river using two pots. One pot was perfect; the other had a crack. By the time she reached home, the cracked pot was always half empty.</p><p>The cracked pot felt ashamed. One day it said, “I’m sorry. Because of my crack, you work harder and get less water.”</p><p>The woman smiled gently and said, “Did you notice the flowers on your side of the path?”</p><p>The pot hadn’t.</p><p>“I knew about your crack,” she continued. “So I planted seeds along the path. Every day, as you leak water, you water them.
