<p>When Maya died, everyone cried.</p><p><br/></p><p>Except Daniel.</p><p><br/></p><p>He simply went home, opened their old chat, and played the last voice note she had sent six months earlier.</p><p><br/></p><p>A soft laugh came through the speaker before she began to talk.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Hey, Dummy... if you're listening to this, then something must have happened. Maybe we're fighting, maybe we're miles apart, or maybe... I'm no longer around. I know that's a scary thought, but promise me you'll keep listening."</p><p><br/></p><p>"First, I need you to know something. Meeting you was one of the best things that ever happened to me. You made ordinary days feel extraordinary. You made me laugh when I wanted to cry, and you believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself."</p><p><br/></p><p>"If life has taken me away from you, don't let it take you away from yourself too. Don't stop eating because you're sad. Don't stop chasing your dreams because I'm not there to cheer for you. Wake up every morning, open the curtains, and let the sunlight in, even if it hurts at first."</p><p><br/></p><p>"Travel to the places we talked about. Eat that ridiculously expensive cake you always said wasn't worth the money. Call your mom more often. Forgive yourself for the mistakes you keep replaying in your head. And please... don't spend your life wondering what you could have done differently. Some stories aren't meant to have a different ending."</p><p><br/></p><p>She paused for a moment before laughing softly again.</p><p><br/></p><p>"And one more thing... don't feel guilty when you smile again. Don't feel guilty when you fall in love again. Loving someone else will never erase what we had. Hearts don't replace people, they simply learn to make room for more love."</p><p><br/></p><p>Her voice grew quieter.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Whenever you miss me, don't look for me in cemeteries or photographs. Look for me in sunsets, in the songs we loved, in the smell of rain, and in every little act of kindness you choose to give the world. That's where I'll always be."</p><p><br/></p><p>"So promise me, Daniel... don't stop living just because I stopped breathing. Live enough for the both of us."</p><p><br/></p><p>The recording ended.</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel stared at the screen, tears streaming down his face.</p><p><br/></p><p>For weeks, he ignored her words. He skipped meals, avoided friends, and let life blur into silence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then one rainy evening, his phone suddenly buzzed with a notification from Maya's chat.</p><p><br/></p><p>Impossible.</p><p><br/></p><p>His hands trembled as he opened it.</p><p><br/></p><p>It wasn't a new message.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was a birthday reminder she had scheduled years ago.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Happy Birthday, Dummy. If you're reading this, it means you're still here. Go buy yourself that overpriced chocolate cake... and smile for me."</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel broke down.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because she was gone.</p><p><br/></p><p>But because, somehow, she still knew exactly how to find him.</p><p><br/></p><p>That evening, he bought a small chocolate cake, lit a single candle, and whispered into the empty room,</p><p><br/></p><p>"I lived today... just like you asked."</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes love doesn't end with goodbye.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes it waits quietly in the little things we leave behind.</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
