THE LAW OF THE WILD: THE TALE OF TWO KINGS
<p>The kingdom of animals was divided into two segments to maintain peace and order. </p><p><br/></p><p>On one side,the forest stretched.</p><p><br/></p><p>The trees stood tall. Their branches swung gently as their leaves danced to the wind.</p><p><br/></p><p>The sun slid through the leaves painting different patterns on earth.</p><p><br/></p><p>At first glance, the forest looked peaceful, but it wasn't.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every rustle of the leaves meant death.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every distant sound could be the last of any animal.</p><p><br/></p><p>And yes…. Animals roamed freely but always cautious, careful not to cross boundaries.</p><p><br/></p><p>The lion with its pride governed the forest. His roaring alone silenced the jungle.</p><p><br/></p><p>When he walked the ground seemed to tremble beneath his paw.</p><p><br/></p><p>No animal dared to look at his eyes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Beyond the forest lay the water. It was home to fishes, crabs, crocodile and other aquatic animals.</p><p><br/></p><p>But over them all reigned the mighty crocodile, king of the river.</p><p><br/></p><p>The kings of both territories ruled with iron claws. </p><p><br/></p><p>They hunted other animals without mercy. and the young for a feast without looking back.</p><p><br/></p><p>By their sight other animals trembled.</p><p><br/></p><p>One morning, the animal market came alive.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ràbbit traded carrots. </p><p><br/></p><p>The monkey stood before the banana seller bargaining.</p><p><br/></p><p>Parrot shouted prices from the branch of the tree.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then a deep roar echoed through the forest.</p><p><br/></p><p>At that moment, every activity was paused.</p><p><br/></p><p>The birds flew to the peak of the sky.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mountain climb to the highest.</p><p><br/></p><p>And antelopes fled for their dear lives.</p><p><br/></p><p>Baskets were abandoned and fruit rolled on the ground.</p><p><br/></p><p>The market scattered in every direction.</p><p><br/></p><p>He was coming.</p><p><br/></p><p>The lion was coming.</p><p><br/></p><p>The rabbit hid behind the tree.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Don't let him see me,” he whispered.</p><p><br/></p><p>He knew he could become lunch for the king.</p><p><br/></p><p>The lion walked passed slowly. His golden eyes scanned the scattered and empty market, as he disappeared</p><p><br/></p><p>Far away in the river, life was not different.</p><p><br/></p><p>The young crab was searching muddy water for food.</p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly,</p><p><br/></p><p>The water became still.</p><p><br/></p><p>He knew the king of the ocean was there.</p><p><br/></p><p>Slowly he looked back.</p><p><br/></p><p>Two bally eyes stared at him.</p><p><br/></p><p>A crocodile.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without further ado, he quickly hid behind a cluster rock as the giant predator swam past him.</p><p><br/></p><p>His heart pounded against his shell.</p><p><br/></p><p>He had survived.</p><p><br/></p><p>The kings of both kingdoms though feared by all,share unusual friendships. They respect their boundaries and each other to maintain peace.</p><p><br/></p><p>Despite their reigns being filled with fear, terror and agony among the animals, both kings never crossed territories to hunt animals, only the foolish animals that trespassed.</p><p><br/></p><p>For years, the mutual respect , unusual friendship and peace endured among the two rulers.</p><p><br/></p><p>Until one day, a single mistake shattered the peace that had lasted for years.</p><p><br/></p><p>To be continued…</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
