<p>You know , sometimes I view myself as a philosopher always philosophizing.</p><p><br/></p><p>There's the concept of the past, the present and the future. Do you know what I think ? Is the past and the future a thing? Hear me out I know it sounds crazy.</p><p>Our main discussion is of the past and the future.</p><p>A lot of people see the future as something faraway and the past as something far behind, people don't really pay attention to the present even though it is your actions in the present that will determine both your future and your past. Crazy right 🥱.</p><p>Here me out. You believe the future is uncertain, yes it is but do you know five hours from now is in the future and five hours ago is in the past. So what are we really living, the past or the future? Let me enlighten you then.</p><p>I believe we all live in the present , we have neither lived in the past nor are we living in the future, just the present. There's is twenty four hours in a day and it is divided into 1 a.m to 12 am and 1 p.m to 12 p.m , just like that , that is what we are living. We only live in the present.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now here me out, I am not saying there's no past and future, I am just saying it is not in the way you think. You can say ," <em>when I used to live here , it was a hut now it is skyscraper"</em>, you can only describe events, situations, realities as been in the past or future but technically we are stuck in a loop of the present, we never leave the present. That is why it is what determines your past as well as your future.</p><p><br/></p><p>I know all these sounds crazy , I know but remember what I said , I like to think of myself as a philosopher.</p><p>Now I take particular interest in the future, no one has ever been there before. At least you can always look back at things you did and say you were in the past but the future, hmmm. We think the future is far but the do you know in the time it is taking me to write this insight, there are the ones that I wrote in the past and and the one I am to write is in the future.</p><p><br/></p><p>Let's cut this long story short, here's my question. Have we ever been to the past and are we heading into the future ? Or we are just in the present because we never left neither are we leaving it ?</p><p>" I step into light,</p><p>My shadow behind </p><p>My body at the front </p><p>And my soul in-between" ( I write poems 😉)</p><p>So what do you think 🤔?</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
