THE VERSIONS OF ME
<p>Maybe growing up isn't becoming someone new.</p><p>Maybe it's slowly meeting the versions of yourself you once left behind.</p><p>The little girl who dreamed without worrying about how far the dream was.</p><p><br/></p><p>I used to think growing up meant having all the answers.</p><p>Now I know sometimes, it simply means learning how to live with the questions.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><em>And that's okay.</em></p><p><br/></p><p>I've changed in ways I didn't even notice.</p><p>Some things that once mattered so much don't feel the same anymore.</p><p>And some things I never cared about now mean everything to me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I've lost parts of myself along the way.</p><p>But I've also found new ones in places I never expected.</p><p>Maybe that's what growing up really is—<strong><em>losing, finding and becoming.</em></strong></p><p><br/></p><p>So I'm not going to hate the person I used to be.</p><p>She was only doing her best with what she knew at the time.</p><p style="text-align: right; "><strong>And I'm still doing the same.</strong></p>
