The World Cup Is Here. My Data Is Loaded. We Move.

I need to confess something.

I love football.

The type whose blood pressure changes when the referee reaches for his pocket.

The type who suddenly becomes a tactical analyst during every match.

The type who says, "It's just a game," and then spends three hours arguing about it afterward.

The type who, if football is on and you start a conversation, will nod politely while hearing absolutely nothing you said.

And today?

The FIFA World Cup begins.

The biggest World Cup in history.

48 countries.

104 matches.

3 host nations.

One trophy.

Billions watching.

And me?

I am READY.

My data is loaded.

The "I budgeted for this tournament" kind of loaded.

My schedule is clear.

My jersey is ready.

My chair has been positioned at the exact angle required for maximum football consumption.

Scientists prepare less for experiments.

Now let's talk about the players.

Bruno Fernandes will produce an assist from a location that should not legally allow football to be played.

Kylian Mbappé will receive the ball, blink once, and somehow be celebrating before defenders realize the match has started.

Lamine Yamal is still young enough to be asked for a school ID, yet he dribbles past elite defenders like they owe him money.

Michael Olise scores goals with the facial expression of a man waiting for his food order.

And then...

Cristiano Ronaldo (CR1000).

My GOAT.

My guy.

As Ronaldo rises for a header, the world unites in awe, transcending time and space. And when he scores, his iconic celebration inspires a collective chant of SiIUUUU, a testament to the power of greatness to bring people together.

That is not football.

That is theater.

That is art.

That is a man who made a promise to himself years ago and has spent every day proving he meant it.

ORORO, the world is watching.

Don't embarrass me.

But as excited as I am for Europe, South America and the rest of the world...

My heart is with Africa. because this World Cup belongs to us too.

Morocco.

Senegal.

Algeria.

Egypt.

Ghana.

South Africa.

Ivory Coast.

Tunisia.

Cape Verde.

Nine African nations.

Nine flags.

Nine dreams.

One continent carrying hope onto the biggest sporting stage on earth.

Every African goal will feel personal.

Every African victory will feel like our victory.

Every African upset will feed families on social media for three days.

We are loud.

We are passionate.

We are coming with vibes, drums, prayers, confidence and enough energy to power a small country.

And then...

There is Nigeria.

🇳🇬

The Giant of Africa.

The nation where football is practically a second religion.

The land of Jay-Jay Okocha.

Kanu.

Mikel.

Osimhen.

Millions of coaches.

Millions of analysts.

Millions of Talented street footballers.

Millions of people who somehow know exactly what the manager should have done.

And yet...

We are at home.

Watching.

Supporting.

Shouting at televisions.

Eating jollof rice.😂

Fighting against Corruption 😰

Against Terrorist 😰

Checking livescores.

Arguing over referees.

Acting like we qualified anyway.

I told myself I wouldn't cry about it.

That was a lie.

A small lie.

A tiny lie.

A manageable lie.

But football is bigger than heartbreak.

Football is the language spoken in Lagos, Dakar, Casablanca, Cairo, Accra, Johannesburg, London, Rio, and Buenos Aires without translation.

It is the one thing capable of making strangers celebrate together.

For the next few weeks, the world will argue, laugh, celebrate, suffer, dream, and believe together.

And honestly?

I can't wait.

So tell me:

⚽ Which country do you think is the favorite to win the World Cup?

⚽ Which country are you supporting by the way?

⚽ Which player are you watching closely?

The comments section is a safe space.

No insults.

No fighting.

Just football.

Just passion.

(And if you say you're supporting whoever is playing against Ghana, I completely understand.) 😂🔥🌍⚽

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.

The All-time Engagers ranking is based on a user's Engagement Score — a measure of how much a
user engages with other users' content via comments and upvotes.
Here is a list of metrics that are used to calcuate the Engagement Score, arranged from
the metric with the highest weighting, to the one with the lowest weighting.
1
A user's comments (excluding replies & said user's comments on their own content)
2
A user's upvotes
Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
