<p><strong>Things I Would Have Done</strong></p><p>There are so many things I would have done differently...</p><p>Rehearsed them like a symphony, endlessly.</p><p>Like a memory, always chasing after me,</p><p>Like a rhythm in my head that rhymes perfectly.</p><p>To say what I feel, instead of standing there, unsure.</p><p>To write what I know, not leave the paper pure.</p><p>To stand up for myself, not be pushed and shoved...</p><p>These are the things I would have done.</p><p><br/></p><p>To raise my hand in class, and speak what’s truly mine.</p><p>To start a conversation, let friendships intertwine.</p><p>To look at my photo and whisper, what a beauty she is...</p><p>These are the things I would have done.</p><p><br/></p><p>But the person I am today</p><p>Still shies from the chance to share creation.</p><p>Still trembles at the thought of innovation.</p><p>Would dig a hole, dive deep into hesitation...</p><p>Yet maybe...just maybe...she’s climbing her way out.</p><p><br/></p><p>One verse at a time, casting away doubt.</p><p>With every line written, with every truth spun,</p><p>She's becoming the girl who does, not the one who could've done.</p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/file_000000008d2871f485fe9783ff0e3861.png"/></p>
