Ever wish life would just pick a side?

Lately, I feel like my brain is stuck in a maze with no exit. One moment I’m sure of something, the next, I’m tangled up in fifty shades of “but what if…?”

If you’re tired of the mental gymnastics too, read this. Then tell me: what’s your biggest grey area right now? Let’s sigh about it together.

The Unbearable Weight of Nuance: Why Can’t Life Just Be Black and White?

Some mornings, I waste ten minutes staring at my closet, torn between two shirts that are basically the same. Picking one feels like a debate I didn’t sign up for. If life could just yell “This one!” I’d gladly obey and move on.

It’s not about being lazy.

It’s like trying to cross a street wrapped in thick fog. You think you see the way ahead, then the path blurs. Should you wait? Should you run for it? Is something dangerous hidden in the mist? There’s rarely a clear yes or no, just a thousand maybe-buts that eat up your mental energy and leave you standing still.

And then there’s people.

I’ll toss out a joke in a meeting; two people chuckle, one looks away, and I’ll spend the whole afternoon replaying that one look, wondering which word came out wrong.

It’s like learning a new dance for every face you meet, while the music switches halfway through.

Even “facts” feel slippery these days.

One news feed screams yes, the next one yells absolutely not. Dig deeper, and suddenly every truth has fine print and a dozen disclaimers. Sometimes I wish the world would just hand us a sign in bold letters:

This is right.

That is wrong.

Done.

But instead, it’s like trying to catch water with open palms.

If you’ve ever wished for a black-and-white world but found only grey, trust me, I see you. This constant tightrope walk between “what if” and “maybe not” is draining.

Some days, I just want to switch it all off and rest in certainty, even for a moment.

So, what’s the biggest grey area you’re wrestling with these days? Drop it below. Maybe together we can cut through a little of the fog or at least remind each other we’re not the only ones stumbling through it.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Contributor Rankings

— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
