Who are we blaming?
<p>They said I caused it all.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every tragedy.</p><p>Every mistake.</p><p>Every broken home.</p><p>Every ruined life.</p><p><br/></p><p>Whenever something went wrong, they looked for someone to blame.</p><p><br/></p><p>And somehow...</p><p>They always found me.</p><p><br/></p><p>They said I was the reason people suffered.</p><p>That I corrupted minds.</p><p>Destroyed dreams.</p><p>Turned good people into monsters.</p><p><br/></p><p>They said I didn't deserve to live.</p><p><br/></p><p>That the world would be a better place without me.</p><p>So I listened.</p><p><br/></p><p>Quietly.</p><p><br/></p><p>As they piled every misfortune onto my shoulders.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every lie.</p><p>Every betrayal.</p><p>Every act of cruelty.</p><p>Every SIN.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every evil they were too ashamed to claim as their own.</p><p><br/></p><p>They handed them all to me.</p><p>And walked away feeling innocent.</p><p><br/></p><p>It fascinated me.</p><p>How easily people abandon responsibility.</p><p><br/></p><p>How comforting it is to believe that every darkness comes from somewhere else.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because if I am the villain...</p><p>Then you never have to question yourself.</p><p>You never have to confront your own choices.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your own desires.</p><p>Your own capacity for destruction.</p><p>You can simply point at me...</p><p>And sleep peacefully.</p><p><br/></p><p>Tell me...</p><p><br/></p><p>Am I truly the villain?</p><p>Or am I merely the shadow you hide behind whenever you don't want to face the monster within yourself?</p><p>Who are we blaming?</p>
