DID?

What's DID?

DID stands for Dissociative Identity Disorder.

ORRRRRR

Multiple Personality Disorder- this one sounds familiar abi?

Dear human, your friend doesn't have DID, he or shes probably just two faced.

Let me explain

In Spiderman Brand New Day: there was this girl who was jumping from one person to the other, like possession. So the person she enters acts a different way from their "normal" selves.

That's DID

Why?

Because the said possessed person now has two different identities, one identity is in control, when the girl jumps out the possessed doesn't remember what ever happened( memory gap)

Different identities take turn

It may be more than two.

It is said to develop from a young age likely from a heavy trauma.

Bipolar Disorder and Dissociative Identify Disorder: The difference is Bipolar Disorder has to do with MOODS, extreme moods while DID has to do with two or more identities.

In simpler terms:

You were speaking with Ade about what to cook, he answered you

The topic changed somehow to people who were physically abused - Ade suddenly changes his voice, his attitude, his manners and everything you know about Ade.

So, dear human, your friend may not have this just because he told Amaka that she's fine and came to tell Chioma that Amaka is not fine.

Please ooo

But if you believe so deeply

Go see a Clinician✨

Hassan acts different, he doesn't have multiple personalities oo😭please.
