A Lie Called Motivation
<p><br/></p><p>Motivation is a beautiful lie,</p><p>Soft-spoken, honey-tongued,</p><p>Promising movement tomorrow</p><p>While it steals today from your lungs.</p><p><br/></p><p>It tells you to wait for the right mood,</p><p>The right song, the right moment</p><p>When everything feels aligned.</p><p><br/></p><p>But that moment is a ghost.</p><p>It drifts in when you don’t need it,</p><p>And disappears the second you do.</p><p><br/></p><p>Motivation says,</p><p>“You’ll start when you feel ready.”</p><p>But readiness is a myth</p><p>Built to keep you still.</p><p><br/></p><p>So you sit, </p><p>Scrolling, thinking, planning,</p><p>Convincing yourself that delay is preparation,</p><p>That hesitation is wisdom.</p><p><br/></p><p>But time does not care about how you feel.</p><p>The days move anyway.</p><p>The clock does not pause to ask if you’re inspired.</p><p><br/></p><p>And slowly, quietly </p><p>The lie deepen...</p><p>Because the longer you wait, the heavier starting becomes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Motivation never tells you that part.</p><p>It never tells you that action is ugly at first.</p><p>That discipline feels like resistance.</p><p>That showing up will feel like dragging your own weight</p><p>Through thick, stubborn air.</p><p><br/></p><p>It sells you ease</p><p>In a world that rewards effort.</p><p>And so the truth stands,</p><p>Cold and uninviting:</p><p><br/></p><p>You will not feel like it.</p><p>Not today.</p><p>Not tomorrow.</p><p>Not when it matters most.</p><p>And still YOU must move.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because the ones who build,</p><p>Who grow,</p><p>Who become.......</p><p>They did not wait for motivation.</p><p><br/></p><p>They moved without it.</p><p>They learned that motion creates its own fire,</p><p>That consistency breeds a quiet kind of belief,</p><p>That discipline.....</p><p>Though harsh,</p><p>Though unforgiving,</p><p>Does not lie.</p><p><br/></p><p>Motivation will whisper,</p><p>“Later.”</p><p>Discipline will say,</p><p>“Now.”</p><p>And only one of them</p><p>Will carry you forward.</p>
