A week to remember.
<p>A Week to Remember</p><p><br/></p><p>A week to remember.</p><p>Or perhaps a year.</p><p>I can no longer tell the difference.</p><p><br/></p><p>For as far back as I can remember,</p><p>I have been lost inside a maze of darkness.</p><p>My mind trapped in that place</p><p>where nothing feels certain anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>What is real?</p><p>What isn't?</p><p><br/></p><p>I have been engulfed by uncertainty,</p><p>thrown into a labyrinth</p><p>I don't remember entering.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the more I try</p><p>to crawl my way back to the surface,</p><p>the deeper I am dragged</p><p>into its endless passages.</p><p><br/></p><p>One turn becomes another.</p><p>One corridor leads to another.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where do I go?</p><p>Where do I run?</p><p>What am I running from?</p><p>Where is the exit?</p><p>Where was the entrance?</p><p><br/></p><p>My mind has become</p><p>a puzzle without an answer,</p><p>a labyrinth without a map.</p><p><br/></p><p>I reach for something tangible,</p><p>something I can hold on to,</p><p>but everything slips</p><p>through my fingers.</p><p><br/></p><p>And no matter how hard I try</p><p>to find my way through this maze,</p><p>I always end up in the same place.</p><p><br/></p><p>Back where I started.</p><p>Back beneath the weight</p><p>of the darkness.</p><p><br/></p><p>Today is Saturday.</p><p><br/></p><p>The end of a week.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the week I had</p><p>was nothing short of a miracle</p><p>that I somehow survived.</p><p><br/></p><p>Again,</p><p>I found myself in the maze.</p><p><br/></p><p>Again,</p><p>So I ran.</p><p><br/></p><p>I kept running.</p><p>I kept running.</p><p>I kept running.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I couldn't get anywhere.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every turn led nowhere.</p><p>Every passage stretched further</p><p>into the dark.</p><p><br/></p><p>And after countless sprints</p><p>through corridors of fear,</p><p>I became tired.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not the kind a sleep could fix.</p><p><br/></p><p>Exhaustion that makes you stop believing</p><p>there is anywhere left to run.</p><p><br/></p><p>And for a moment,</p><p>the Grim Reaper looked like an answer.</p><p><br/></p><p>A release.</p><p><br/></p><p>A way out of the maze.</p><p><br/></p><p>I thought perhaps</p><p>I only had to stop fighting,</p><p>stop searching,</p><p>stop running.</p><p><br/></p><p>Perhaps I only had to let go.</p><p><br/></p><p>It felt like peace.</p><p><br/></p><p>As though if I surrendered,</p><p>the light would finally reach</p><p>the places where darkness</p><p>had drowned my soul.</p><p><br/></p><p>But somehow,</p><p>the darkness faded.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because I defeated it.</p><p>Not because I found the exit.</p><p><br/></p><p>It simply faded.</p><p><br/></p><p>And with it,</p><p>the desire to disappear</p><p>faded too.</p><p><br/></p><p>With no power of my own,</p><p>with no strength left to give,</p><p>I survived another week.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm still lost in the maze.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still walking through corridors</p><p>I have no compass to navigate.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still searching for an entrance</p><p>I don't remember taking.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still looking for an exit</p><p>I don't know exists.</p><p><br/></p><p>But today is Saturday.</p><p><br/></p><p>And by some miracle,</p><p>I made it here.</p><p><br/></p><p>I survived yet another week.</p><p><br/></p><p>A week to remember.</p>
