ADANNA: HER BEAUTY A BLESSING THAN A CURSE
<p>It was all good, everything was going steady </p><p><br/></p><p>They all had dreams, big ones that mere men didn't dare to dream and for sure they were going to achieve that, because their father gave them that assurance </p><p><br/></p><p>A family tightly knitted that nobody could tear apart.</p><p><br/></p><p>Until one day everything came crashing, </p><p><br/></p><p>one death, two debts</p><p><br/></p><p>And somehow ADANNA found herself as the sacrificial lamb.</p><p><br/></p><p>My two cents on ADANNA by Adesuwa Oman</p><p><br/></p><p>We all had seen situations like that play in real life, how fast a life that was mapped out can come crashing.</p><p><br/></p><p>It gets tough but we figure it out right???</p><p><br/></p><p>That wasn't the case of ADANNA.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some chapter will make you shed a tear</p><p>Some will make you gape </p><p>Some will make you close the book, put your hands on your head and breath </p><p>Some will make you drink water to digest what you just read </p><p><br/></p><p>But come to think of it, do people really suffer like that in real life because ADANNA was too young to go through all that </p><p><br/></p><p>A 16 year old bride, abandoned by all, surrounded by enemies and monsters.</p><p><br/></p><p>But adanna still fell in love over and over again, the indaboski in me was like “baby girl won't you rest”</p><p><br/></p><p>It got to a point you'll pray for her to have a happy moment.</p><p><br/></p><p>A 16 year old bride who had to satisfy both father and son.</p><p>Got beaten up to pulp and stripped naked several times for the whole world to see</p><p>And object of beauty taken to public gatherings just to garner favour by her “old enough to be a grand father” husband </p><p>Advised by a domestic worker who was secretly envying her spot as the wife </p><p>Her love killed by her husband </p><p><br/></p><p>ADANNA beauty was more of a blessing than a curse and she just wanted a good life but the universe gave her 20 years of trauma.</p><p><br/></p><p>If you're in the mood to cry, gasp and shake your head because of the trauma and plot twist </p><p><br/></p><p>I recommend ADANNA BY ADESUWA OMAN NWOKEDI</p>
