<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Àkùngbá Ìgbẹ́yìn…....</p><p><br/></p><p>Freshers hear the name from the very first week.</p><p>Staylites laugh when they say it.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Just wait till Àkùngbá Ìgbẹ́yìn reach."</p><p>"Na that time you go understand."</p><p><br/></p><p>We used to laugh too.😂</p><p>We thought it was just another campus joke,🥺</p><p>Another exaggerated student story.</p><p><br/></p><p>But no one explains it fully.</p><p>Because Àkùngbá Ìgbẹ́yìn</p><p>Is something you must experience.</p><p><br/></p><p>Weeks before examination,</p><p>The sun suddenly feels hotter.</p><p>Books grow heavier in your hands.</p><p>And pockets grow frighteningly lighter.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is when life begins to show its real colour.😭</p><p><br/></p><p>Every student becomes a mathematician —</p><p>Not solving calculus,</p><p>But calculating food survival.🤧</p><p><br/></p><p>“How many spoons today?”</p><p>“How many days till exam?”</p><p><br/></p><p>“Two spoons today…</p><p>Maybe tomorrow we go manage one.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Soup becomes treasure.</p><p>Rice becomes festival food.</p><p>Noodles becomes luxury</p><p>You greet from a distance.</p><p><br/></p><p>Wallets are empty.</p><p>Bank alerts are silent.</p><p>Everyone is broke in the same language.</p><p><br/></p><p>No one is really asking</p><p>“How are you?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Because everybody already knows the answer.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still, in this dry season of student life,</p><p>Two heroes always rise.</p><p><br/></p><p>Poks — breadbuns,</p><p>Faithful soldiers of survival.</p><p>Morning hope.</p><p>Evening comfort.</p><p>No long cooking.</p><p>No complicated preparation.</p><p>Just eat and keep reading.</p><p><br/></p><p>And then Garium — humble cassava flakes,</p><p>The loyal friend of the struggling scholar.</p><p><br/></p><p>Just add water.</p><p>Sugar if luck smiles.</p><p>Groundnut if heaven remembers you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Together they whisper softly:</p><p><br/></p><p>"You will not faint today."</p><p><br/></p><p>Because in Àkùngbá,</p><p>Exams are not the only battle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Students are fighting</p><p>Hunger,</p><p>Stress,</p><p>Sleepless nights,</p><p>And the quiet fear of failure.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is when the seniors’ words finally return:</p><p><br/></p><p>"You go understand Àkùngbá Ìgbẹ́yìn."</p><p><br/></p><p>And suddenly…</p><p>You understand.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because you are now part of the story.</p><p><br/></p><p>Yet somehow,</p><p>Even when Àkùngbá Endtime nearly kpai us,</p><p>We still keep grinding.</p><p><br/></p><p>We read.</p><p>We push.</p><p>We survive.</p><p><br/></p><p>And one day,</p><p>We too become the seniors.😂</p><p><span style="background-color: transparent;">Preaching the gospel to the next set of freshers:</span></p><p><br/></p><p>"Just wait…</p><p>When Àkùngbá Ìgbẹ́yìn reach,</p><p>You go understand."</p><p><br/></p><p>NOTE; A very big shoutout to students of Adekunle Ajasin University. We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
