<p>I perfected the shape of being human </p><p>long after I stopped feeling like one.</p><p>This face</p><p>stitched from habit,</p><p>held up by memory,</p><p>worn like it still belongs to me.</p><p>No one questions it.</p><p>Because it answers when spoken to.</p><p>Because it moves on cue.</p><p>Because it never breaks in public.</p><p>But this is not where the story begins.</p><p>This is what’s left</p><p>after everything else</p><p>is gone.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4018.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Before I became this</p><p>I was something that felt everything</p><p>all at once.</p><p>They called it healing</p><p>as they stitched me shut.</p><p>Thread through pain.</p><p>Metal through memory.</p><p>Holding me together</p><p>just enough</p><p>to keep me from collapsing</p><p>where people could see.</p><p>I learned early</p><p>survival isn’t pretty.</p><p>It’s quiet.</p><p>It’s controlled.</p><p>It’s pretending</p><p>you’re not falling apart</p><p>while being sewn back together</p><p>incorrectly.</p><p> </p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4019.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>So I adapted.</p><p>I covered what couldn’t be explained.</p><p>Wrapped silence around truth</p><p>until even I</p><p>forgot what it sounded like.</p><p>They called me strong</p><p>because I did not react.</p><p>But they never understood</p><p>I wasn’t calm.</p><p>I was contained.</p><p>I stopped looking at what hurt.</p><p>Not because it disappeared</p><p>but because seeing it</p><p>meant feeling it.</p><p>And feeling it</p><p>would undo everything</p><p>I worked so hard</p><p>to hold together.</p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4032.jpeg" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;"/> </p><p><br/></p><p>But silence doesn’t erase things.</p><p>It splits them.</p><p>My eyes learned the truth</p><p>my mouth refused to say.</p><p>My thoughts separated</p><p>one part remembering,</p><p>the other rewriting</p><p>so I could survive it.</p><p>I became two people</p><p>living in one reflection.</p><p>One who knew.</p><p>One who denied.</p><p>And somewhere in between</p><p>I started disappearing.</p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4031.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>There is a moment</p><p>when the mind realizes</p><p>the body is no longer enough</p><p>to carry what it holds.</p><p>So I left.</p><p>Not physically.</p><p>Not visibly.</p><p>But completely.</p><p>The body stayed.</p><p>It still moved.</p><p>Still spoke.</p><p>Still lived a life</p><p>convincing enough</p><p>for everyone else.</p><p>But me?</p><p>I was already gone</p><p>caught somewhere above it all,</p><p>untangling pieces</p><p>that never fit back together.</p><p><br/></p><p><img src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4038.jpeg" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;"/></p><p><br/></p><p>And now</p><p>this is what remains.</p><p>Not broken.</p><p>Not healing.</p><p>Not even hiding anymore.</p><p>Just… empty.</p><p>A structure</p><p>that remembers how to exist</p><p>without remembering</p><p>why.</p><p>And if you look closely</p><p>you’ll see it.</p><p>Not in what I show</p><p>but in what’s missing.</p><p>Because this version of me</p><p>doesn’t feel.</p><p>Doesn’t fight.</p><p>Doesn’t fall apart.</p><p>It simply… continues.</p><p><br/></p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p style="text-align: right;"><br/></p><p style="text-align: right;"><br/></p><p style="text-align: right;">“I Became Noise” was the question.</p><p style="text-align: right;">“Anatomy of Silence” is the answer.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
