I Became Noise
<p><br/></p><p>Who am I<br/></p><p>without the quiet curse</p><p>of feeling replaceable</p><p>in every space I try to belong to?</p><p>Because I have spent so long</p><p>reshaping myself</p><p>I no longer know</p><p>where I end</p><p>and where the world begins.</p><p>Inside me,</p><p>there are roots.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>They do not grow gently.</p><p>They split through memory,</p><p>through silence,</p><p>through every version of me</p><p>that tried to be chosen.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I was never empty</p><p>just… growing</p><p>in places that did not understand growth.</p><p>So I learned to wear faces.</p><p>Not lies</p><p>just versions of myself</p><p>edited for comfort.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4126.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Something softer.</p><p>Something easier to keep.</p><p>But even then</p><p>something in me refused.</p><p>It pushed.</p><p>It tangled.</p><p>It reached.</p><p>Until I became noise.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4125.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Lines pulled in every direction.</p><p>A self stretched too thin</p><p>between who I am</p><p>and who I keep becoming</p><p>to survive.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Not broken</p><p>just…scattered.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4129.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>And then came the rewriting.</p><p>Pages of me</p><p>turning without permission.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Stories reshaped</p><p>to fit spaces</p><p>that never truly saw me.</p><p>If our eyes saw souls</p><p>instead of bodies</p><p>you would hesitate</p><p>before calling this beautiful.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Because you would see</p><p>how much of me</p><p>is still trying</p><p>to gather itself.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I am a collection of paradox.</p><p>I laugh too hard</p><p>like joy is something</p><p>I have to prove.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Or I disappear completely</p><p>because silence</p><p>is the only place</p><p>I don’t feel divided.</p><p>But the truth</p><p>the quiet, stubborn truth</p><p>is this:</p><p>The only people who truly care about you</p><p>can hear you</p><p>even when you’re quiet.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>They don’t get lost</p><p>in the masks,</p><p>the noise,</p><p>the scattered pieces.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>They find you</p><p>in the in-between.</p><p>So maybe</p><p>I was never replaceable.</p><p>Maybe I was just</p><p>misread,</p><p>misplaced,</p><p>misunderstood……</p><p><br/></p><p><img src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_4127.jpeg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Because even now</p><p>as parts of me fall away,</p><p>as something inside me</p><p>breaks open</p><p>and grows in directions</p><p>I cannot control…….</p><p>there is still something here</p><p>that remains.</p><p>Not perfect.</p><p>Not finished.</p><p>But real.</p><p>Not too much.</p><p>Not too little.</p><p>Just…… becoming.</p><p><br/></p>
