<p>Can I ask for one favour?</p><p><br/></p><p>Whenever I fail—or whenever I don't do as much as I expected—please don't tell me to settle for less.</p><p><br/></p><p>And please don't judge me.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't know the story.</p><p><br/></p><p>The fears.</p><p><br/></p><p>The midnight oils.</p><p><br/></p><p>The sacrifices.</p><p><br/></p><p>The moments I questioned myself and still kept going.</p><p><br/></p><p>If you want to help me, encourage me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Point out my errors.</p><p><br/></p><p>Show me where I can improve.</p><p><br/></p><p>Correct me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Challenge me.</p><p><br/></p><p>But don't ever tell me that if the top doesn't work out, there's a comfortable place below it waiting for me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Even if the top seems impossible—which I don't believe it is—push me towards it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because even if I don't land exactly at the top, I'd rather fall while reaching for it than spend my life comfortably aiming lower.</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't lower my dreams to make my journey look easier.</p><p><br/></p><p>Push me to become the kind of person who can carry them.</p><p><br/></p><p>But now that I think about it...</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe it's not that you want me to settle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe it's simply because you love me.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't want to see me down.</p><p><br/></p><p>You want me to be my best.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I appreciate that.
