HAVE A DREAM. IT WILL HELP YOU KNOW WHAT TO SAY NO TO.

One thing I've realized about life is that having a dream does more than give you something to work towards.

It gives you a filter.

When you know what you want your life to look like, you start looking at things differently.

You start asking:

“Does this take me closer to the person I want to become?”

And that question can save you from a lot of confusion.

Think about relationships.

You can meet someone who is kind, attractive, intelligent, financially stable and genuinely good.

But that doesn't automatically mean they're the right person for you.

Sometimes, a person can be good and still not be good for the life you're trying to build.

And that's okay.

The same thing applies to friendships.

Not everyone who enjoys your company needs to have permanent access to you.

Some people are good people, but they're taking you in a direction you don't want to go.

Then there are opportunities.

A job can pay really well and still not be what you want.

A business opportunity can look amazing and still not fit your long-term plans.

A lifestyle can look beautiful on social media and still be completely wrong for you.

This is why you need a dream.

Not just a vague “I want to be successful.”

Have an idea of the kind of person you want to become.

The kind of life you want.

The things that matter to you.

The values you don't want to compromise.

The things you're willing to sacrifice for your future.

Because when you don't know what you want, everything looks like an option.

Every relationship becomes something you have to overthink.

Every friendship becomes something you struggle to let go of.

Every opportunity becomes something you feel you must accept because “What if I don't get another one?”

You keep asking:

“Which one should I choose?”

But when you have a clear direction, the question changes to:

“Does this fit the life I'm building?”

And suddenly, some decisions become much easier.

You can say:

“He's a good person, but he's not for me.”

“She's a good friend, but we're no longer going in the same direction.”

“It's a good job, but it's not what I want.”

“It's a good opportunity, but it doesn't serve my bigger goal.”

That's not being picky.

That's having direction.

And this isn't only for women.

Young men need this too.

Have a dream.

Have something you're building towards.

Because the clearer your destination becomes, the easier it is to decide what deserves a place on the journey.

You don't need to accept everything just because it's good.

Some good things are simply not your things.

And sometimes, knowing that is the standard you need.

Catchy caption:

“A dream doesn't just tell you what to chase. It teaches you what to reject.”

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
