INDECENCY ISN'T A WOMAN'S PROBLEM—IT'S A PEOPLE PROBLEM

Before anyone misunderstands me, let me say this: I'm not trying to justify indecency or make excuses for it. If something is indecent, then it's indecent. My point is simply that we shouldn't make it gender-specific.

The moment the word indecency comes up, most people immediately picture women short dresses, crop tops, tight clothes, revealing outfits. But why is that where the conversation always begins and ends?

Can we talk about the men too?

The ones who walk around in boxers so short and tight that they look like underwear meant to stay beneath clothing. The ones who let their trousers sag so low that their underwear becomes part of their outfit. The ones who step outside shirtless, walking into public spaces as though everyone consented to seeing their bare bodies.

A certain evening that I stepped out, I saw a man come out to buy something wearing only trousers. His shirt was hanging around his neck while his chest was completely exposed. I couldn't help but think, if a woman walked into that same place dressed in the female equivalent, would people react the same way?

Another man in my area regularly wears extremely short, skin-tight boxers in public. If we're going to call out indecency, shouldn't that count too?

This isn't about attacking men. It isn't about defending women. It's about consistency.

We can't keep acting as though modesty is a responsibility only women owe society while men are free to present themselves however they please.

If decency matters, then it should matter for everyone. And if indecency deserves criticism, then that criticism shouldn't depend on whether the person wearing the outfit is male or female.

Standards only have value when they're applied equally.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
