Maybe We Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out.

Have you ever had those moments when you felt like you finally had life figured out? You knew what you wanted, where you were going, and somehow, everything just seemed to make sense. You had a plan, you had hope, and you were confident about the future.

‎Then, without warning, something changes.

‎And suddenly, you find yourself questioning everything.

‎Am I really on the right path? Am I making the right decisions? What am I supposed to be doing with my life? Why does it seem like everyone else knows what they are doing while I am still trying to figure myself out?

‎I think one of the most confusing things about life is how quickly our certainty can turn into uncertainty. One moment, we feel like we've got it all figured out; the next, we feel completely lost.

‎But perhaps that's okay.

‎Perhaps we were never meant to have every detail figured out at once. Perhaps life is not about knowing exactly what comes next, but learning to take the next step even when we can't see the entire road.

‎And in those moments when we feel lost, I think we need to remember something important: we are not navigating life alone.

‎We have God.

‎The One who sees what we cannot see. The One who knows the beginning, the middle, and the end. The One whose plans are greater than the ones we could ever create for ourselves.

‎So, what do we do when we don't understand?

‎

‎We pray. We pause. We keep learning. We take the next step. And above all, we learn to trust God.

‎Trust Him when everything makes sense, and trust Him when nothing does. Trust Him when the doors are opening, and trust Him when you're standing in front of a closed one. Trust Him when you know exactly where you're going, and trust Him when all you have is enough light for the next step.

‎Because sometimes, what feels like being lost is actually God redirecting us.

‎Sometimes, the delay is preparation. Sometimes, the uncertainty is an invitation to depend on Him more. And sometimes, the path we would never have chosen is the very path that leads us where we need to be.

‎

‎So, if you're currently in a season where you feel confused, uncertain, or like everyone else is moving ahead while you're still trying to find your way, breathe.

‎You don't have to have it all figured out today.

‎You are allowed to grow. You are allowed to change your plans. You are allowed to not have all the answers.

‎Just don't forget to keep moving, keep learning, keep becoming and keep trusting God.

‎Maybe the goal was never to have everything figured out. Maybe the goal is to trust the One who already has.

‎

‎And perhaps one day, when we look back, we'll realize that even in the seasons when we thought we were lost, God was quietly leading us all along. 🤍
