<p><strong>Part 3: Impact</strong></p><p>The ground met me with a force I had never imagined.</p><p>Everything happened at once.</p><p>A deafening thud.</p><p>A sharp burst of pain.</p><p>Then... nothing made sense.</p><p>For a few seconds, I couldn't tell whether my eyes were open or closed. The sky above me looked distant, almost unreal, as if I were staring at it through water.</p><p>Am I... alive?</p><p>I didn't dare move.</p><p>My heart was pounding so violently that I could hear it inside my ears.</p><p>Can I still feel my legs?</p><p>That question came before any other.</p><p>Not, How badly am I hurt?</p><p>Not, Did anyone see me?</p><p>Just...</p><p>Can I move?</p><p>I tried to lift a finger.</p><p>It twitched.</p><p>A tiny movement.</p><p>But it was enough to make me hope.</p><p>Then the pain arrived.</p><p>Not all at once.</p><p>It spread through my body like fire finding dry grass—my back... my arms... my ribs... every breath reminding me that something had gone terribly wrong.</p><p>I squeezed my eyes shut.</p><p>Please... don't let anything be broken.</p><p>Somewhere nearby, I heard hurried footsteps crashing through the dry leaves.</p><p>Then a voice.</p><p>"Stephen!"</p><p>Another voice followed, louder this time, trembling with panic.</p><p>"Stephen! Answer me!"</p><p>It was the girl.</p><p>The same girl I had wanted to impress only moments earlier.</p><p>I wanted to tell her I was fine.</p><p>I wanted to laugh it off.</p><p>Instead, all that came out was a weak groan.</p><p>Her footsteps stopped beside me.</p><p>For a moment, neither of us spoke.</p><p>I could feel her standing there, frozen.</p><p>Maybe she was just as shocked as I was.</p><p>Maybe she couldn't believe that only a few minutes earlier, I had been smiling from the top of that tree.</p><p>Now I was lying beneath it, staring at the branches that had betrayed me.</p><p>I could hear my own breathing—short, uneven, and shaky.</p><p>The silence felt heavy.</p><p>Then a terrifying thought crept into my mind.</p><p>What if I can't get up?</p><p>I swallowed hard.</p><p>I wanted to try.</p><p>I needed to know.</p><p>Slowly... carefully... I planted my hands against the ground and began to push myself up.</p><p>The pain exploded through my body.</p><p>I froze.</p><p>My breath caught in my throat.</p><p>Something isn't right...</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
