<p>My Friend the "Mechanic"</p><p><br/></p><p>Everybody for my area knows my friend Thompson. According to him, there is nothing he cannot repair. Phone, fan, blender, generator—you just need to hear him say, "Relax, I sabi am."😂</p><p><br/></p><p>One day, my standing fan stopped working. I carried it to his house. He smiled and said, "Na small thing. Give me five minutes."</p><p><br/></p><p>Five minutes turned to one hour.</p><p><br/></p><p>One hour turned to three hours.</p><p><br/></p><p>When I asked, "Guy, how far?" I was getting tired😭</p><p><br/></p><p>He wiped sweat from his face and replied, "The fan stubborn small."</p><p><br/></p><p>By evening, the fan was in pieces. Screws were everywhere. Even me wey bring the fan begin wonder whether na fan or motorcycle I carry come.</p><p><br/></p><p>Finally, Thompson looked at me and said, "I get good news and bad news."</p><p><br/></p><p>I said, "Start with the good news."</p><p><br/></p><p>He smiled proudly. "The good news be say I don discover the problem."</p><p><br/></p><p>"So wetin be the bad news?"</p><p><br/></p><p>He scratched his head and said, "I no remember where the remaining screws dey."😭😂</p><p><br/></p><p>That day, I carried my fan home inside nylon bag instead of carton. Since then, anytime Thompson says, "I fit repair am," I just smile and reply, "Abeg, make e remain like this."</p>
