My Long-Lost Parents 💔
<p>Sometimes, I wonder what it feels like to hear someone call my name with the love only a parent can give.</p><p>Sometimes, I imagine what it would be like to sit across from the people who brought me into this world and ask them the questions that have lived in my heart for years.</p><p>"Did you ever think about me?"</p><p>"Did you ever miss me?"</p><p>"Do you still remember the day we were separated?"</p><p>Growing up, I watched other children run into their parents' arms. I smiled for them, but deep inside, I wondered what that kind of love felt like.</p><p>Every birthday, every achievement, every difficult moment, I found myself wishing they were there to witness it.</p><p>Life taught me to be strong, but strength doesn't erase longing.</p><p>There are nights when I look at the stars and wonder if they're looking at the same sky. I wonder if they think about the child they lost, or if life carried them so far away that my memory slowly faded.</p><p>I don't hate them.</p><p>I don't even know their story.</p><p>Maybe they searched for me but never found me.</p><p>Maybe circumstances beyond their control tore us apart.</p><p>Or maybe they still hope, just as I do, that one day our paths will cross again.</p><p>If that day ever comes, I don't think my first words will be filled with anger.</p><p>They'll be filled with tears.</p><p>Because some reunions are worth more than years of unanswered questions.</p><p>Until then, I choose to hold on to hope.</p><p>Hope that love can survive time.</p><p>Hope that broken families can find healing.</p><p>Hope that even the longest journeys can lead us home.</p><p>❤️ If this story touched your heart, share one word that reminds you of "home."</p>
